An universal bottom hole orienting sub (UBHO) and fishing tool & technique aredesigned for the retrievableprobe type MWD tool which used to during oil & gas wells. The mean features ofthe new UBHO are toeliminate the axial shocks affecting MWD tool's performance while drillingoperations and cause the majorMWD tool failures. Secondly, it adapted a tight support for MWD tool intodrill string with fully capability toretrieve & replace MWD tool down hole, especially in the horizontal section,result in reliable & correcttransmitted data. The "Mud pushing block" fishing tool & technique using wireline fishing operationsimplementing the capability to fish and replace MWD tool down hole at any holeinclination, even in thehorizontal section "until now the MWD tool fishing operations are limited tocertain hole inclination" whichlead to increase MWD's marketing value. Main while this fishing tool &technique could be used in widerange in the other wire line through tubing & drill string operations.
