BINOCULAR OPTICAL APPARATUS IN PARTICULAR ELECTRONIC SPECTACLES, HAVING AN ELECTRONIC CAMERA FOR AUTOMATIC FOCUSING UNCLUDING CORRECTION FOR VARIOUS VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS

Electronic spectacles and visual aids for various areas of application areknown, in particular those also comprising microcomputers, range finders andan autofocus function. The aim of the invention is to configure a cost-effective binocular optical device in such a way that an automatic focus thatincludes the correction of different vision defects can be set. To achievethis, the inventive device has a frame, at least one electronic camera that issupported by the frame and a motor-adjustable lens system that is located atthe front and is connected to the electronic camera. The device ischaracterised in that vision defects are corrected by adjusting the refractivepower of the lenses and/or by setting a focus that includes an automaticadjustment for the reading or working distance. The invention lies in thedomain of electronic spectacles and visual aids.
