Rubber composition intended for the manufacture of articles with an elastomeric base containing oxygenated functions and silica as filler

This novel rubber composition comprises a dienic elastomer; a silica type filler; a coupling agent; and a recovery agent. Rubber composition comprises at least a dienic elastomer with oxygenated groups; a filler consisting, at least in part, of a 'silica' type material selected from silica and other materials which have oxygenated silicon groups on the surface; at least a coupling agent selected from optionally substituted aminoalkylalkoxysilanes, aminoarylalkoxysilanes, and aminoaralkoxysilanes; and at least a recovery agent selected from optionally substituted (but not with amine or sulfur groups) alkylalkoxysilanes, arylalkoxysilanes, and aralkoxysilanes. An Independent claim is also included for an article containing at least said composition e.g. a pneumatic tire tread.
