Phenolic resin for glue sizing composition, preparation method and glue sizing composition containing same

Resin composition based on phenol-formaldehyde resol modified by urea with formaldehyde phenol mol. ratio of 2 to 5; free formaldehyde content = 3wt.%; free phenol content = 0.05wt.%; and dilutability at 20[deg]C not less than 1000% contains an over-condensed resol obtained by condensation in basic medium of phenol, formaldehyde, and, optionally, urea until product has dilutability in water at pH 9 = 2000%, or the product of neutralisation of such a resol. Also claimed are preparation of composition; method for increasing resol dilutability; glue sizing composition for products based on mineral wool; and method for preparation of products.
