The invention concerns a method for generating unchallengeable signature with a smart card i(CPi)/i. The latter stores in a storage unit i(M) /itwo pairs of so-called mother keys and two diversified keys i(dKS1(i) and dKS2(i))/i obtained from said pair of keys and an identifier, by applying a triple DES cryptographic algorithm and a certificate generated by a certification authority based a private key of said authority, a public key and by applying a RSA cryptographic algorithm. The signature i(SIGNi)/i is obtained from the two diversified keys i(dKS1(i) and dKS2(i))/i and data i(MSG/i) to be transmitted by applying a triple DES (3). In a preferred embodiment, two authenticating additional keys are stored in the storage unit (M). Said keys are generated by the certification authority and serve to generate data authenticating the signature, by applying a triple DES.
