WORK-FLOW SYSTEM FOR WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS

A deal flow system in support of an application based on the Web. A server has an application program accessible to a plurality of client computers via a network. The class of transactions system includes a database for specifying one or more work processes and at least one action associated with each working process. Each working process is initiated through a ticket registered in a central tickets database. An interface allows the application program to establish the tickets for the benefit of the ticket center. The system also includes a motor arrangement of flow of operations which ensures the matching of tickets and work processes. If a match, the associated actions are executed. Thus, processing tasks in 'back office' can be an asynchronous management with respect to the application program, which reduces the processing load on the application program and the Web server. Therefore, it improves application response capacity in relation to user needs.
