The present invention relates to a computer system with a host processing unit (1) executing a host operating system (3). This computer system has a driver code simulating a hardware device interface for a process (PR1) running in the host operating system (3). The computer system has also simulation code to process data to and from the driver code in accordance with the hardware device interface. This simulation code creates the process (PR1), while simulating another operating system within the process (PR1).
