In the procedure a pivoting movement (F3) of the bay unit (B) is made around an axis (X1-X'1) parallel to a longitudinal axis (X-X') of the casing. This allows the disengagement or engagement of a tab integral with the bay unit into a casing internal volume. The end saddle (4) has a geometry compatible with this pivoting movement. Independent claims are also included for (a) the end saddle, and for (b) unit formed by casing and bay.
