METHOD FOR ORGANISING AND CONDUCTING A VIRTUAL BETTING COMPETITION

The invention relates to methods for conducting betting competitions and games, which involve a large number of participants and use telecommunication networks, for example the Internet. The inventive method consists in disseminating information on a competition and recording the participants and viewers by means of two types of cards distributed by an organiser. The first type of card is assigned to the participants, and the second type of cards is assigned to the viewers. Each distributed card is provided with a margin carrying a nominal value for said card. In addition, the organiser of the competition disseminates graphic, textual and/or sound and/or video information on each participant of the competition via the Internet. The owners of the viewer cards vote in favour of the participants with respect to the nominal value of the card. The vote is conducted by means of points, allocated according to the status of the viewer to at least one participant in the form of the bets, which are placed thereon.
