Each supply phase has a series safety fuse (9) which protects the phase against faults and operates a hammer (19) acting on a trigger (16) which is coupled so as to operate and be operated by the other triggers. The earth leakage detector uses a similar mechanically linked system. Contact (10) in each phase is made by a rod extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuse. When the circuit is connected, the other end (10b) of the rod is housed in a space (11) bounded by two flexible conductors (12) which are fixed by one ends (12a) to the base of the fuse. The contact is maintained by a spring (14) engaging a groove (13) in the rod at one end and curving around the trigger at the other.
