The operating system for a data processing network with at least 2 processors has the commands corresponding to the inputs from the corresponding input devices assembled in a command sequence. The commands are handled by the different processors starting at different points in the command sequence, with a waiting period at the end of each processing step for reception of the following commands for each processor.
