METHOD FOR IMPROVING IDLE DRIVING PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A method for improving idle driving performance is provided to stabilize idle state by controlling air flow by adjusting a clip value of an idle solenoid valve, and then controlling an engine rpm to reach a desired engine rpm. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving idle driving performance includes the steps of: comparing a real engine rpm measured in idle state with a desired engine rpm, and detecting the difference; comparing the difference value with a predetermined value; detecting the difference between introduced air flows of idle states, and comparing the difference value with a predetermined value; determining a clip value of an idle solenoid valve(20); and varying the clip value of the idle solenoid valve to reach the desired engine rpm.
