A drive tool, such as a screwdriver, has a central portion with a circumferential groove formed therein adjacent the end flange, and has an injection-molded, relatively hard and rigid inner body molded around the tool shank. And an inner central body with an elongated central portion having two end flanges extending laterally outward of the central portion surrounding its entire circumference. The outer gripping body made of soft elastic material surrounds the central portion of the inner body and fills the groove and is injection molded around the inner body.
