PURPOSE: Dehydrating structure of surface on a clay dredged landfill ground is provided to quickly secure the necessary ground strength of the surface, to construct easily and economically by dredging and burying a swampy place with clay. CONSTITUTION: Band typed draining areas(2) are vertically inserted in an upper surface(1) of a clay dredged landfill ground. The upper portions of the draining areas are exposed on the ground. Moisture of clay is evaporated through solar heat or wind by raising through the drainage areas outside the ground. The amount of contained water in the upper surface(1) is reduced. Thereby, the shear strength of the surface is reinforced early.
