Trademark Searching Method and Trademark Searching System

PURPOSE: A method and a system for retrieving a trademark are provided to improve a retrieval performance by extracting a specific vector for total and partial of a given image based on the retrieval technology of an image pattern and performing an indexing process based on the specific vector extracted. CONSTITUTION: A system(3) for retrieving a trademark is comprised of an indexing server(5), a retrieval server(6), and a storage(7) such as a database and is connected with a terminal(1) for processing a trademark registration application and terminals(2,2') for requesting a retrieval through a network(4). When receiving a retrieval request from the terminals(2,2'), the retrieval server(6) retrieves the database within the storage(7) in response to the retrieval request and transmits the retrieved result to the terminals(2,2'). The terminals(2,2') display the retrieved trademark image in a descending series of the similarity based on the transmitted information. The terminal(1) prepares application information of a trademark registration in the form of binary data and transmits it to the storage(7) through the network.
