Modeling method of future children and future facial shapes

PURPOSE: A method for modeling a face of a prospective offspring and a prospective face is provided to predict a face image of a prospective offspring and a prospective image of a person by using a face modeling method. CONSTITUTION: Face images of parents are inputted(5302,5304). A predetermined 3D shape model is matched to the inputted face images of the parents(5306). A characteristic of a child is assigned to the matched shape model of the parental face images by correcting the matched shape model of the parental face images(5308). The corrected parental images are formed by mapping the parental face images to the corrected face shape model(5308). A child face image corresponding to a length and breadth ratio of the parental faces is selected from a child face image database(5310). A prospective offspring image is generated by correcting the selected child face image(5312).
