PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a loess footway block is provided to control contained rainwater excellently, to contribute to the promotion of health by maximizing far infrared radiant efficiency, to lighten the weight of a footway block and to secure the rapid effect of drying the ground and antibacterial effect of germs on the ground. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a loess footway block comprises the steps of crushing loess(100) by a roller crusher, cutting rice straw(200) at 7¯20 percent of the volume of the loess(100), then putting in a stirrer, mixing and stirring with water, compressing and molding by putting the stirred admixture in a molding frame, plastic-working the molded admixture at 1100¯1250 degrees, and burning the rice straw(200) to be carbonized to form many vent holes(110) and hollow carbonic voids(220) holding carbonized ashes(210).
