PURPOSE: A nonwoven fabrics that is impregnated with activated carbon particle for chemical filter is provided to remove gaseous air pollutants with less pressure drop. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing the nonwoven fabrics includes: prepare activated carbon suitable to remove gaseous air pollutants; screen the activated carbon to 0.5 mm size and feed to a hopper in which a vibrator is equipped; impregnate the nonwoven fabrics(3) the screened activated carbon(2) by vibrating the nonwoven fabrics; immobilize impregnated activated carbon by heat and pressure; prepare a filter media(5) in the form of V-bed; cut it into a suitable size and cover the end with an aluminum net(4); put into filter case and bind with urethane binder; and dry in oven.
