PURPOSE: An internet group purchase service method is provided to form a community for the group purchase, to exchange informations among community participants and to enable a group leader to spontaneously operate the community and to carry out the group purchase. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a consumer selecting one among items displayed in a group purchase site(102), the consumer requesting generation of a community with respect to the selected item(116), a service operator granting a certification key to allow the generation of the community(117), the operator generating the community and appointing the consumer to a community leader(118), the community leader determining an estimated purchase amount(119), the leader inducing other consumers to purchase the items(120), the community leader determining if the leader grants a certification key for allowing other consumer to subscribe for the community(105), the new consumer exchanging informations with others and submitting an item purchase order form(108), the community leader closing a purchase request and submitting the purchase request forms to the operator(110), the operator determining a discount price based on the purchase amount and the discount rate(111), and enabling the consumer to pay for the items and the supplier delivering the items to the consumer(112,113).
