3 Editing and Mailing Method and Editor For Electronic Catalog Including Interactive 3D Image data

PURPOSE: A method and device for editing and transmitting an electronic catalogue are provided to enable an editing transmitter to watch the same screen as a receiver-received screen, to edit/construct an electronic catalogue capable of inserting and displaying a three-dimensional cubic image, to search constructed electronic catalogue, and to transmit a constructed electronic catalogue to a receiver at an on-line state. CONSTITUTION: An editing process with respect to an electronic catalogue is achieved by a catalogue editing transmitting device(1). A transmitting process is performed by the catalogue editing transmitting device(1) and a server(3). A receiver receives the electronic catalogue through the server(3) and communicates with the server(3) and receives data related to a three-dimensional cubic image display to be inserted in the electronic catalogue. An electronic catalogue editing transmitter(4) connects to the server(3) through a web browser and performs an editing and transmitting process with respect to an electronic catalogue stored in a storing device(6). The server(3) stores a catalogue and a portion of an address book prepared by the catalogue editing transmitting device(1) in one's storing device(6), and supplies an electronic catalogue stored by an instruction of the catalogue editing transmitting device(1) connected to a data communication network to a designated receiver. When a receiver reads a catalogue, if the receiver requests a transmission of related data for displaying a three-dimensional cubic image being inserted and displayed in the catalogue, the server(3) transmits the requested data to the receiver.
