PURPOSE: A method for managing leachate from sanitary landfill using volumetric field capacity is provided, which is characterized in that quantity of generated leachate is minimized by maximizing filling-up height. Thereby, quantity of absorbed water by volumetric field capacity of filled waste is higher than quantity of rainfall infiltration. Therefore, quantity of leachate is minimized. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, filling-up of waste is operated by the following steps: deciding filling sections with separation bank(110); and operating three sections(final-filling section, proceeding section, non-filling section). The final-filling section(123) has high filling-up height for sufficient volumetric field capacity. Generated leachate from the proceeding section(121) is collected by a means, and stored in a tank. Stored leachate is sprayed to the proceeding section(121) for evaporation of leachate by sunlight and wind.
