PURPOSE: A system and a method for processing the electronic commerce and personal financial using a communication line are provided to let a customer use the Internet sites using an Internet card without a member registration process in the electronic commerce and personal financial. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a modem unit(110) having a cable modem connected to an Internet cable circuit to interface data, a key input unit(120) having many function input keys, a reception processing unit(130), processing the data received via the modem unit, a micro computer(140) connected to the reception processing unit and the key input unit to control the general actions of the system, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(150) displaying the data outputted from the micro computer, a database(160) storing the data outputted from the micro computer, a card reader(170) scanning cards under the control by the micro computer, a transmission processing unit(180) transmitting the data read by the card reader via the modem unit, a charge device(190) charging a pass card or electronic cash, an interface unit(200) interfacing data between the micro computer and peripheral devices(210,220,240), and a printer(230) connected to the interface unit to output tickets and receipts.
