Manufacture method of recovery disk in computer system

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a system recovery disk is provided to decrease the size of a recovery program stored in the recovery disk by separately managing same files and storing the same files in the recovery disk in case that a plurality of recovery programs stored in the recovery disk exist. CONSTITUTION: A CPU judges whether an inputted operation command is an operation command for fabricating a recovery disk(204). If the inputted operation command is the operation command for fabricating the recovery disk, the CPU determines recovery programs stored in the recovery disk(208). The CPU judges whether a plurality of recovery programs exist(210). If a plurality of recovery programs exist, the CPU judges whether same overlapped files exist among files of a plurality of recovery programs(214). The CPU compresses the other files except for the same overlapped files as one file, and outputs the compressed one file to an R/W CD-ROM and stores the compressed one file in the recovery disk(216). The CPU compresses the same overlapped files one different file, and outputs the compressed one file to an R/W CD-ROM and stores the compressed one file in the recovery disk(218).
