PURPOSE: Provided apparatus and method are characterized in that contaminants of industrial wastewater and metal ions eluted from the anode during electrolysis are combined electrochemically for generating hydrated metallic floc. And hydrated metallic floc is magnetized and removed by a magnet. Therefore, both of contaminants and metals of industrial wastewater are removed efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises: a means(2) for supplying magnetic particles(13) and pH adjusting agent(12); a means(1) for adjusting pH by controlling injection quantity of pH adjusting agent(12); a part(3) for generating floc of contaminants by electrolysis; a part(4) for generating magnetic floc by mixing magnetic particles and electrolyzed contaminants floc; and a part(6) for separation magnetic floc and treated water.
