PURPOSE: A method for servicing a VOIP(Voice Over Internet Protocol) endpoints telephone number and a method for converting the VOIP endpoints telephone number into an IP(Internet Protocol) address in a gatekeeper, are provided to enable an Internet phone service provider to maintain a charge collection system, and to implement a phone number service recognizable integrally by each Internet terminal user regardless of the separate Internet phone service provider through an Internet phone number service server, so that users can designate Internet phone number freely. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone number service server is established to enable a user to provide an Internet phone number service for an Internet phone number(E164 Type) to be stored in a Web phone through an Internet network. An Internet phone number is registered to enable the user to receive the Internet phone number(E164 Type) to be stored in the Web phone from the Internet phone number service server through the Internet network. And the Internet phone number service server stores data of separate Internet phone service providers to guide the user to select an Internet phone service provider to pay charges.
