The Method of Education Diagnosis and Disposal Using Item Analysis Pattern

PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing and treating the learning is provided to judge the learning result of a learner by automatically searching a correlated pattern according to attributes of questions selected from question banks, and by enabling the learner to search a correlated pattern and check the similarity of the patterns. CONSTITUTION: Questions(510) are extracted from a question bank(500). A sampling of a question analysis pattern and a learner question analysis pattern is performed including a result estimated by a pattern generator(520). The patterns extracted are stored in a pattern database(570). Patterns generated from the pattern generator(520) are compared in a pattern comparison processor(530). A result from comparing the pattern is used as data for a learning estimation(550) and a learner progress estimation(560). Data generated from the pattern comparison processor(530) are stored in a pattern database(570). Attributes of questions stored in the question bank(500) are readjusted using information stored in the pattern database(570) in a question attribute adjusting system(540).
