PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of functional food ingredients containing low molecular weight of silk amino acid and silk peptide manufactured by HCl hydrolyzing fibroin and other proteins in a cocoon and having anti-geno toxicity and anti-cancer effects. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: refining and washing a high quality cocoon; hydrolyzing the prepared cocoon; neutralizing the dissolved cocoon followed by maturing and cooling it; decolorizing and deodorizing the solution; filtering it with a filter; demineralizing the solution; concentrating the mineralized solution under reduced pressure; drying the concentrate by freeze-drying or spray drying method; and packing the dried powder into a bottle or a stick.
