PURPOSE: A hot and chilled water generator is provided to eliminate the need of using a power supplied from an external source, while preventing environmental contamination. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission lever(19) transmits a vertical motion to a power transmitter(15), and the power transmitter transmits the motion to a rotating support(18) and a rotating gear(14) connected to a generator. The power generated from the generator, passes through a rectifier(10) and is converted into a voltage and current suitable for a semiconductor thermo-element(6) and supplied to the semiconductor thermo-element. Thus, one surface of the semiconductor thermo-element is heated while the other surface of the semiconductor thermo-element is cooled. A hot water storage jacket(5) and a chilled water storage jacket(8) covering upper and lower surfaces of the semiconductor thermo-element are rapidly heated and cooled, at the state where jackets contain a room temperature liquid supplied through a water inlet pipe(16). Here, the power transmission lever operates to cause a significant temperature difference between hot and chilled water. Thus-generated hot and chilled water is supplied through a connection pipe and valve assembly(7).
