library using service system used for mobile phone and method of serving thereof

PURPOSE: A library service system and a method using a mobile terminal are provided to enable a user to get the information of books possessed to a library regardless of time and space without the user visiting the library. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a library supporting server(40) connecting to a communication network in order to transmit the information with a mobile terminal(10), providing a library service menu to the mobile terminal by receiving a request signal from the mobile terminal, and executing the concerned process selected by the mobile terminal, and a database(50) being used by the library supporting server and storing the service information relating to the service menu and the registered member information. The library supporting server is equipped with a library book search processor transmitting a book list relating to the contents of the received search menu and a book and a status processor transmitting the book using status of user to an authenticated mobile terminal by receiving the selection signal including the personal book using status from the mobile terminal.
