A FILTERING APPARATUS FOR A FILTER PRESS A FILTER PRESS USING THE SAME AND A METHOD OF REMOVING A CAKE IN THE FILTER PRESS

PURPOSE: A filter unit for a filter press is provided, which is easy to take out a cake after filtrating a solid-liquid mixture and to wash filter media after taking out the cake. CONSTITUTION: A filter section is constituted by properly combining filter frames(31, 31a) and filter bodies(32). Each filter frame has an injection pipe(312) and the solid-liquid mixture is injected into the inside of the filter frame through a connecting hose(7). Each filter body is constituted of a filter plate and a filter cloth(327). The filter plate has a partition plate(321), a net(325) and a holding frame(320). At the lower part of the partition plate(321), a slit(323) for discharging a liquid is provided. The holding frames(320) are attached to the partition plate from its surface and back surface. A set composed of the net, the partition plate and the holding frames is covered with the filter cloth so that the surface and the back surface of the set are covered. The filter cloth has such a structure that the upside and a part of the upper side of each side face of two sheets, each having a rectangular form, are jointed. An attaching board(329) is attached to the partition plate from the outside of the filter cloth using a screw system so that a through hole passing through the filter clothes provided at the surface and the back surface sides is provided.
