.. A Load Balancing Method for Application Services based on TCP Connection in the Clustered Internet Server Environment

PURPOSE: A method for dispersing the loads of an application service using a TCP connection in Internet server environment composed as clusters is provided to compose an efficient Internet server by dispersing the loads to a plurality of servers using connection migration. CONSTITUTION: A real server is selected using a suitable algorithm for dispersing the loads of a cluster system. A filtering function to a providing service is applied. Connection setting information is transmitted to the selected server using a CMP(Connection Migration Protocol). The real server generates a TCP connection point using connection setting information received through the CMP. The real server processes service request and transmits the processed result to a user. After the connection with the user is ended, a system having a representative IP deletes an export table. The real server deletes CMP information by the request of the system having the representative IP.
