Manufacturing cosmetics from the natural fragrances of chestnut blossom using trapping apparatus for the natural volatile aromas

PURPOSE: A process of preparing cosmetic materials by extracting a perfume component from a chestnut blossom using an extractor for a natural volatile perfume component is provided, thereby obtaining a perfume component without simultaneous extraction of unnecessary tissue components or remaining solvents. CONSTITUTION: A perfume component comprising acetophenone, 2-phenylethyl alcohol, alpha-methylbenzyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol is extracted simultaneously from a chestnut blossom using an extractor. The simultaneous extraction is achieved by the following process: introducing a specified amount of chestnut blossom into a closed vessel; supplying a specified amount of gas such as nitrogen or air, or helium into the vessel and extracting a volatile perfume component; and collecting the extracted volatile perfume component into an absorption pipe filled with a specified absorbent.
