PURPOSE: An array type optic fiber hydrophone using Michelson interferometer is provided to reduce size of the hydrophone by integrating a sound detective part and a surplus receiving body. CONSTITUTION: A hydrophone comprises a surplus receiving body(1); and a sound detective part(2). The surplus receiving body receives a directional coupler(11); a mirror(12); splicings(15) placed on both ends of the directional coupler for connection of neighboring channels and between the sound detective part and the mirror; and surplus optic fiber needed for repair. The sound detective part comprises a mandrel(21) surrounding the surplus receiving body to detect sound pressure and detective optic fiber(22) covering the mandrel.
