PURPOSE: A functional food using ginseng, maesil(Japanese apricot), salt and sugar is provided, which food supplements blood with salt, inhibits the over-secretion of gastric acid and constipation, and relieves fatigue. CONSTITUTION: The functional food using ginseng, maesil(Japanese apricot), salt and sugar is produced by saccharifying of carbohydrate; adding ginseng juice, maesil juice and salt into the saccharified carbohydrate; and condensing the mixture by heating it to form caramel or candy type functional food, in which the saccharified carbohydrate supplements a user with calorie; the maesil juice induces secretion of saliva; the ginseng juice supplements a user with saponin which maintains the balance of each function in a human body to supply salts.
