PURPOSE: A method for producing glass-bead is provided to achieve improved efficiency and accuracy in analysis, while preventing alloying between metal iron and platinum. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of making a mixture in a platinum furnace by mixing an iron ore sample with a melting agent 9.5 to 10.5 times more than the amount of iron ore sample, a detaching agent 0.5 to 0.8 times more than the amount of iron ore sample, and an oxidizing agent at least 3 times more than the amount of metal iron contained in the iron ore sample; a second step of producing a molten material by heating the platinum furnace containing the mixture; and a third step of pouring the molten material onto a platinum tray having a flat bottom surface, cooling the molten material, and separating the cooled material from the platinum tray.
