PURPOSE: A method for adjusting the traffic of a single mobile terminal in an IMT-2000 system is provided to give the order of priority for a plurality of logic channels existing in a single mobile terminal and to differentially set traffic amounts according to the priority order. CONSTITUTION: After appointing the size of a transmission block set to 70 bits and the number of 10-bit transmission blocks to 7, an RRC(Radio Resource Control) layer sends a signal to inform an MAC(Medium Access Control) layer that the priority of each logic channel is allocated as "1", "2", and "4"(S10). The MAC layer arranges the numbers in the order of the highest priority from the lowest priority(S12). Then the MAC reverses and arranges the number array(S14). The MAC maps the reversed number array to the priority of each channel, and defines the value as "a transmission block number"(S16). The MAC requests the RRC layer to send transmission blocks as much as the defined transmission block number for each logic channel(S18). In response to the request, the RRC layer sends requested transmission blocks to the MAC layer(S20).
