DEVICE FOR PREVENTING MOLTEN STEEL FROM SPLASHING AND CONTROLLING FLOW OF MOTEN STEEL IN TUNDISH

PURPOSE: A device for preventing splashing and controlling flow of molten steel in tundish is provided to manufacture a continuous cast product of high quality by suppressing splashing of molten steel flown into the tundish and impressing repulsing current to the molten steel injected into the tundish from a long nozzle. CONSTITUTION: In a device for preventing splashing and controlling flow of molten steel when the molten steel flows into a tundish through a long nozzle of a ladle, the device comprises a body part(10) which is installed at the bottom of the tundish; a first opening(20) which is formed at the upper central part of the body part(10) by being adjusted to a direction which is underneath the long nozzle; a plural second openings discharging into tundish molten steel molten steel which is flown into through the first opening(20) and flows through the inner part of the first opening(20); and an impact means(1) having a plural molten steel passages(40) which are integrally penetrated into the body part(10) so as to be connected to the first and second openings.
