PURPOSE: A method for controlling basicity of cohesive zone in a blast furnace is provided to inject a large amount of inexpensive pulverized coal by minimizing air-permeation resistance through basicity controlling of molten materials in the cohesive zone when injecting a large amount of inexpensive pulverized coal into the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: In a method for controlling basicity of cohesive zone of a blast furnace comprising the processes of injecting a high temperature gas and pulverized coal into the blast furnace through a tuyere of the blast furnace, and controlling the basicity of the cohesive zone as the pulverized coal burned in the tuyere combustion zone is passing through the cohesive zone, the method for controlling basicity of the cohesive zone in the blast furnace is characterized in that a basicity of slag in the cohesive zone is controlled to 1.5 to 1.6 by controlling a basicity of sintered ore according to the injection of the pulverized coal to 1.7 to 2.0.
