System and method for collecting passing-charge of a toll road using the wireless commuication terminal

PURPOSE: Provided are a device and a method for charging a toll of toll road using radio communication terminal which requires low installation charges and is convenient to be maintained. CONSTITUTION: The method for charging a toll of toll road using the radio communication terminal, comprises the steps of (i) receiving a certified information from radio communication terminal in a car entered a tollgate in departure and extracting an information about the tollgate in departure to transmit the information to the radio communication terminal; (ii) receiving the transmitted information and covering the toll according to selected charging system; and (iii) notifying the fact of toll payment to the radio communication terminal.
