PURPOSE: A method for cultivating mushrooms such as Sparassis Cripsa Wulfen Fr. and Phellinus linteus by changing the temperature during cultivation is provided. Whereby, the growth of a fruit body is achieved within a short period of time at low cost. CONSTITUTION: Sawdust of a larch and a broad-leaved tree in a ratio of 3:1 to 1:1 is mixed with 0.5 to 3.0% by weight of activated carbon and 0.01 to 0.5% by weight of activated calcium, based on the total weight of the medium and sterilized at high pressure. The cultivation temperature is kept at 24 to 26deg.C until a mycelium is prevailed, raised to 26 to 28deg.C after the mycelium is prevailed and then kept for 10 days.
