PURPOSE: A method for deoxidizing molten steel during tapping operation in basic oxygen furnace(BOF) is provided to save expensive deoxidant by injecting coke powder being entrained with carrier gas into molten steel during tapping. CONSTITUTION: In a deoxidation method of molten steel during tapping in basic oxygen furnace(BOF) where inert gas is injected on the surface of molten steel in converter so that slag layer(8) is not present in upper zone of tapping hole(3), the present invention is characterized in that coke powder(11) having a particle size of 1mm is injected into molten steel, being entrained in inert gas, in an amount of 0.2kg/ton-molten steel.
