PURPOSE: A method for preventing carbon influx into ultra low carbon steels and low carbon steels by properly controlling constitution of ladle slag when conducting decarburization in ladle furnace is provided. CONSTITUTION: In the method for preventing carbon influx into ultra low carbon steels and low carbon steels by properly controlling constitution of ladle slag when conducting decarburization in ladle furnace, the present invention is characterized in that the ladle slag is composed of CaO 41.1-51.2 wt.%, Al2O3 46.79 to 57.05 wt.%, SiO2 1.85 to 2.08 wt.% and further the amount of BaO, which is poured into ladle furnace at last stages of LF treatment, is controlled to 10 to 20 wt.%, based on the weight of ladle slag.
