AN APPARATUS TO ASSIST CONJOINING PROCESS OF STRUT ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A device for supporting the combination of a strut assembly is provided to assembly strut assemblies of various shapes by compressively supporting a coil spring, to stably fix a spring via plural spring holders, and to easily combine the spring and strut. CONSTITUTION: Device for supporting the combination of a strut assembly includes a base plate(110) having a strength over a reference strength and a spring compressing unit(200) to compress the upper and lower portions of a spring(205) by using the pressure of a fluid. The spring compressing unit includes a lower support unit(140) to support the lower portion of the spring and a fluid cylinder(120). Plural spring holders are attached to a clamp member. The lower support unit is moved toward an upper support unit(130) of the spring compressing unit by operating the fluid cylinder. Then the spring is compressed sufficiently, and a shock absorber protruded from a lower seat is placed downward through the spring. The spring and a strut assembly are combined on the end of the shock absorber by using a mount and a connecting member.
