PURPOSE: A portable RF power measurement instrument is provided easy to move and easy to carry along with one by incorporating therein a sensor and supplying a power through a battery, thereby detecting the RF power at a region where a commercial power is not supplied. CONSTITUTION: A portable RF power measurement instrument(100) includes a first switch(110), an attenuator(120), a passing line(130), an amplifier(140), a second switch(150), a measurement device(160), a display device(170), a control switch(180) and a battery(190). The first switch(110) outputs an RF signal through a plurality of contact points by selectively switching the RF signal inputted from a power source in response to an inputted control signal. The attenuator(120) is connected to one of the contact points to attenuate the RF signal inputted from the first switch(110). The passing line(130) is connected to another contact point to bypass the RF signal inputted from the first switch(110). The amplifier(140) is connected to another contact point to amplify the RF signal from the first switch(110) by a predetermined level. The second switch(150) is connected to output terminals of the attenuator(120), the passing line(130) and the amplifier(140) to selectively output the output transmitted through the attenuator(120), the passing line(130) and the amplifier(140) by being switched in response to the inputted control signal. The measurement device(100) detects the RF signal output from the second switch(150), and if the RF signal does not meet the basic level, increases the intensity of the RF signal by changing the contact point of the first and the second switches(110,150) and if the RF signal meets the basic level outputs the information corresponding to the intensity of the RF signal, The control switch(180) changes the contact point of the first and the second switches(110,150) by outputting a control signal based on the switching signal from the measurement device(160).
