METHOD FOR INFORMING THE USER OF NAVIGATION INFORMATION USING MOBILE TERMINAL EQUIPMENT IN INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A method for guiding navigation information to a user using a mobile telecommunication terminal in an intelligent transportation system terminal is provided to guide a driver with navigation information in a voice, thereby reducing the risk in driving. CONSTITUTION: A mobile telecommunication terminal connects a voice call with an information center(11-13). The information center confirms caller data and transmits a voice message requesting to receive destination and an intelligent transportation system terminal outputs the voice message received through the mobile telecommunication terminal to the user(14). If the user inputs destination voice, the voice is transmitted to the information center(15). The information center recognizes the destination voice, searches database, transmits a recognition completion voice message, and then disconnect the voice call connection(16-19). The mobile telecommunication terminal disconnects the voice call connection and tries data communication connection for transmitting the current location(20). The intelligent transportation system terminal calculates a path between the current location and a destination for generating path data, and then disconnects data communication connection(21-24). The intelligent transportation system terminal receives path data through the mobile telecommunication terminal for outputting path data in a voice(26-29).
