PURPOSE: A flat-plate groove leakage wave antenna is provided to reduce the size of an antenna by forming a slit-groove shaped waveguide. CONSTITUTION: A feeding unit(201) is comprised of a waveguide having an inner wall of a parabola shape. A radiating unit(203) is comprised of a waveguide having plural slits(205) and a trench structure. The waveguide is made of duralumin. A width of each of the slit and the trench is 10 . The feeding unit(201) is a hog horn shape in order to feed a feeding wave. The feeding unit(201) is coupled to an input terminal of the radiating unit(203). An inner portion of the feeding unit(201) has a parabola shape, for transferring an electromagnetic wave to the input terminal of the radiating unit(203) in phase. Power radiated from the respective slits(205) are coupled to each other to form a beam.
