METHOD FOR TRANSFORMING MODE IN PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT

PURPOSE: A method for converting a mode in a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) is provided to prevent that the PDA is converted into a sleep mode at a certain period. CONSTITUTION: A CPU controls a PDA so that the PDA is operated in an active mode(210). The CPU drives a timer for monitoring the lapse of a certain time(212). The CPU monitors whether the certain time elapses according to the driving of the timer(214). The CPU monitors whether an event is generated from a user before the certain time elapses(216). If the event is not generated from the user and the certain time elapses, the CPU converts the active mode into a sleep mode(220).
