PURPOSE: A method is provided to lengthen lifespan and improve reliability of multilayer ceramic capacitors by removing non-uniformity of internal stress formed during laminating process, while reducing size of the capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A method is characterized in that a multilayer ceramic capacitor specimen is heated after a pressure is applied to the specimen, maintained at the final temperature and cooled. The pressure is applied to the specimen in a lengthwise or widthwise direction of the specimen, and the range of the pressure is 30MPa or lower. The heating temperature is 900 Deg.C or lower. The multilayer ceramic capacitor specimen is maintained at the final temperature for 1 hour or shorter.
