Anthelmintic injectable composition containing ivermectin and process for preparation thereof

PURPOSE: A composition for injecting ivermectin used for exterminating insects and a producing method thereof are provided, thereby the ivermectin can be easily and stably injected hypodermically without causing any damage to an injected region. CONSTITUTION: The composition for injecting ivermectin used for exterminating insects contains glycofurol and biocompatible oil, in which the biocompatible oil is vegetable oil selected from corn oil, sesame oil and bean oil; the volume ratio of glycofurol to biocompatible oil is 1:1 to 1:100; and the amount of ivermectin contained is 0.1 to 5 w/v%. Its production method comprises the steps of: dissolving ivermectin in glycofurol; and adding the biocompatible oil into the glycofurol.
