Method and apparatus providing a free charging service using an ARS telephone on the internet

PURPOSE: An ARS free phone service method and system on the Internet is provided to prevent an unnecessary disbursement of telephone charges by enabling a web user to access an ARS service provider's server via an operator gateway using his/her terminal in obtaining necessary information. CONSTITUTION: An operator gateway(300) consists of a multiplexing board(310), a DSP board(320), a switching board(330), and an operator server(340). The multiplexing board(310) converts a single signal, transmitted from a web user, into two signals. The DSP board(320) processes an input signal. The switching board(330) executes a voice processing function. The operator server(340) is comprised of a web server(341), a DB server(342), and a CRM server(343). The web server(341), physically connected with an information communication network, transmits necessary service contents to web users. The DB server(342) executes a function to store web user information. The CRM server(343) classifies and stores each user information according to a preset basis.
